What factors should I consider when choosing an entry door?
There are many things to take into account when choosing a door for your home. You want to consider the size of the opening, the swing path clearance, door width, door construction, and hardware you want to be installed. Our design consultants are happy to help you choose the best door for your home and safety.
How long does it take to install an entry door?
It doesn’t take long at all! Most entry door installations take between 4-5 hours to complete. This depends on the weather, how much site preparation is required, any difficulties removing the old door, etc.
Can I choose a bigger door than the one I currently have?
Yes, it’s absolutely possible to install a bigger door than the one you have. However, this does mean remodeling the exterior and interior. If you have vinyl or wood siding, in most cases, the opening can be enlarged without much difficulty. However, if you have a brick or another masonry, it may permanently limit the size of the door you can install without needing to remodel the space extensively.
