Brent grew up under the tutelage of his father Ted, the founder of the company that would evolve into Nex-Gen Windows and Doors. As a young boy, Brent accompanied his dad on service calls and, years later, spent summers working at the company. He gravitated to the hands-on installation side of the business. He enjoyed solving complex problems and creating a happy, satisfied customer.
Brent’s steadfast commitment to providing innovative solutions to challenging problems stems from those early years “in the trenches.” He discovered the joy of helping people achieve their goals for a more comfortable home while increasing the value of their investment.
Since stepping into his role as president in 2007, Brent’s knowledge of the industry has grown exponentially. He is solidly committed to exceeding people’s expectations and has brought that credo into the culture and mission of the company. He looks ahead with humility, recognizing that he has moved from knowing very little about the business as a child to running a company that demands a breadth of product knowledge as well as problem-solving and people skills.
When he’s not solving home improvement projects for Nex-Gen customers, Brent enjoys working on his own home projects; his favorite is custom woodworking. Like most Coloradoans, he enjoy the outdoors. He loves four-wheeling and motocross. Brent and his wife have two daughters. When the girls are older, Brent would love the opportunity to work with them at Nex-Gen.
